happy half birthday to alex!!! we're going to the journey concert tonight at umb because I won two tickets from the radio last week! sweeeeet. I just got back from sanctuary camp today. all of my kids were amazing. every single one of them. lots of them came to camp with a lot of stuff going on in their lives back home and it was heartbreaking to listen to their struggles and grief. 7th graders shouldn't have to deal with some of that stuff. hanging out with michelle and maria and nick and all of the other awesome counselors was also excellent. for those of you who know these people (ie. bridget) here are some updates: tim bounds and his wife have a 6month old baby! it was at camp all week long with us and he's adorable. actually, now that I think about it I think that's the only interesting update from this year. still pretty crazy, though. its always interesting to see how often I'll actually see the counselors throughout the year. I'm definitely going to make a point of hanging out with michelle for a bit next time I visit emily. okay, time to go get prepared for journey..woohooooo!
