Why, hello again
I didn't realize just how long it had been since I posted last. Been busy with life, I guess.
I am still married to Pork.
My youngest is now 8! Going to be a third grader!
My oldest made me a grandmother in January. I'm still geeking over that one! She's married and happy!
My middle kid is learning welding and he loves it- he's found his creative outlet, finally!
I started graduate school this last term. Occupational Health Management etc etc etc. I want to work in the water quality field (still), but I've narrowed down my focus a WHOLE bunch since 2010. I tried to get a job in my field, but too many laid off folks with master's and 15-20 years experience. Can't compete with that as an entry level, with only a BS.
I like the field. I'm taking more chemistry related courses etc and I really enjoy that.
It's strange being here again. Like, moving back to your hometown after being away for twenty years. Lots of changes, but once you get used to them, it seems to be okay.
I will definitely be around. I miss the privacy/quietude of LJ. I got on Facebook for my Mom, and my interactions on there are totally unsatisfactory of late.
