Ami woke up and yawned. The sun was shining in the window and woke her up. Oh well. She had THINGS to do! Quickly she got dressed, and lying on her stomach started drawing a very large picture of a cat.

Ami woke up and rubbed her eyes. Her Mama wasn't home, but she was probably at a shift in the hospital. Ami was frightened. She had had a horrid nasty old nightmare, and Mama wasn't here. So, here was Ami, crying in her room. Loudly. With an open door.
