I don't really have anything poignant or deeply emotional to say, so maybe I'll just fill you all in on who the hell it is writing these crazy and inane thoughts down.
My name is Lucinda, it's nice to meet you! I'm 17 (turning 18 on the 16th of April, write it down :D) and in my first year studying Visual Communication (otherwise known as design plus drawing and computers) at the University of South Australia. I have a t-shirt proclaiming South Australia to be Heaps Good, a t-shirt which speaks truth. My city has balls ^^
I am random, sometimes lacking in sanity, sometimes lacking in skills and or a life. I am occasionally obsessive, always doodling and always annoying my brother by singing.
I attempt to play the guitar, I'm mostly self taught, but seem to always fall back on just vocals. I'm completely incapable of writing good lyrics or indeed music at all, but I have fun playing other people's masterpieces. I own a ukulele, but can't really play it.
I'm a bit of a camera whore at times, I have way to much fun playing with photobooth and I rarely go out other than to the supermarket without mascara and foundation... otherwise I just look like the hideous monster I am xD
I love reading and music and tv and movies. I am a nerdfighter and thus composed primarily of awesome rather than organs and bones and suchlike.
I adore Harry Potter, Twilight is a guilty pleasure, Maureen Johnson's wit never fails to make me giggle, John Green's books make me cry in an awesome way and I recently fell in love with the Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare (I just read the final book in the trilogy ... every second was amazing).
I will on occasion marathon every episode ever made of a certain television series. I have done so with The 4400, Scrubs, Arrested Development, Degrassi: The Next Generation, The Office, Merlin, Doctor Who, Firefly and probably more, I'm currently doing so with Lost (I started watching it when it first started but stopped in the middle of the third series). I have watched Heroes, Greys Anatomy, Private Practice, Torchwood, Dollhouse and Brothers & Sisters since they first started and still love them to pieces.
I am a little bit in love with Doctor Who... I would probably turn gay for Billie Piper (come on, she's hot xD) and I love David Tennant and John Barrowman <3
I like most movies I see. Slumdog Millionaire was amazing, I love singing along to the Disney Classics and despite their failure to uphold what the books have, I still adore the Harry Potter movies.
I sometimes have issues and don't think I'm really that interesting but you people will have to put up with it anyway because I have decided it is so! I have a twitter and write silly things on it and I love watching youtube videos.
There is probably more to me than that, of course I don't think I'm that interesting anyway but leave me a comment with questions about lovely egotistical me if you so desire xD
