Just watching some of the extras on my Supernatural season 2 dvds and at one point the visual director or something actually said:
"...the Impala, or the Metallicar as I hear it's been called..."
I squeed. Ivan Hayes actually knows that we call her the Metallicar.
That is so awesome.
ETA: Just watching "Nightshifter", the episode with the shapeshifter in the bank and everything. Well the crazy guy, Ron, who believes in alien says that the people committing these crimes and then killing themselves are not human. When asked what they are he holds up a magazine. On the cover is a Doctor Who cyberman and the caption is "birth of the Cybermen".
