amnesia, the game! (not the nightmare inducing game, really!)
So I thought for a fun game, we can all pull a classic Soap Opera trope! (no, you're not pregnant nor are you suddenly marrying your sister)
Your character was just minding their business, when suddenly, they are struck by AMNESIA!
They suddenly can't remember who they are, where they came from, what they were doing, you get the idea. For you guys who turned human/have powers, feel free to turn back to normal or to be in your Johto restricted body, either way is fine!
It's up to other characters to tag them and try to describe who they are. For example!
Of course, whether your character believes them or not is entirely up to you. Have at it!
