He just...really doesn't like them, never has. He has a pretty low tolerance for children already, and as far as he's concerned babies are just loud and annoying and smelly.

Ed and Envy meet on a random road between cities in Johto, and they're both alone. GO!

Envy wouldn't attack him immediately, since he knows Ed can fight. He'd be more likely to start with trying to piss Ed off by saying things to him that he thinks might set him off and make him angry enough to give Envy an edge (or so he thinks, anyway). And then he'd try attacking, if Ed hadn't already. He mainly wants to hurt Ed however he can, whether that's mental or physical. But! He probably wouldn't actually kill him, at least right now, but that could change after this canon update. But that's only if there was no way anyone else would find out, which...isn't likely. So even after the update he'd be more likely to just try beating him up and then leave.

OH RIGHT return question, what would Ed do if he came across Envy alone between cities?

Ed would brace himself for a fight, as he would expect Envy to try to kill him. He would maybe try to get some answers out of him, mostly about what he was planning to do with the people he had claimed as 'friends,' and what he was thinking leaving Nanao alone to wander around and almost get herself killed by a Scyther.

He'd infuriatingly dance around answering any questions, except then his response to the Nanao question would be something akin to 'B( I was unconscious I couldn't stop her, YOU saw her last why didn't you do anything'.

Oh man good question. Also a-awwww Tohru ;o; It makes me glad that I'm playing first anime Envy and not manga Envy because that would just be terrible.

ANYWAY.

So Envy generally expects people to not want to be around him anymore once they find out about him doing terrible things. Especially people that are humans and appear to be as sweet as a box full of baby bunnies like Tohru. For her not only to continue to want to be around him, but also want to be there for him, is probably not something he'd believe at first. He'd be a bit standoffish too, because not sure if want. He has a hard time accepting people being nice to him.

However, should Tohru persist like you said, that actually would mean a lot to him and he'd start warming up to her. A little grudgingly because clearly she could somehow turn on him at any moment *paranoia paranoia* but that would fortunately not last too long and he'd start actually letting her get closer.

What would Envy do if Nanao vanished?

Well first he would freak out because she is definitely some of his close CR now, and he never reacts well to losing people he's close to. He wouldn't want to believe that she was vanished at first either, only when it was absolutely certain that she was gone. And then he'd go kick and punch a million trees because his next step after freakout is to get really angry. And after he needed to go get his hands/feet treated at the Center, he'd take his pokemon out and stomp all over weaker trainers until they got concerned enough to be like um trainer no. After THAT, he'd be angry-sad for quite a while, and be pretty clingy to everyone else he's close to because he'd be afraid that they'd vanish too.

So all I could think of at first was OH WELL MIGUEL IS OBVIOUSLY LEAD GUITAR. XD

But I figure Envy could be on keyboard and France could be lead singer because I think he can sing the best out of them? And Tulio could be percussion and Romano could be bass. And everyone can sing backup. Yes. :D;; /bad at the constructing band game aaaa
