Ahhhh, the first of many great days!
There's something to be said about only working one job per day. NICE.
I'm getting sick of moving all of our fall stuff at Pier 1, and I mean that in the nicest way. I love moving displays and setting visuals and making things look neat and decorative, but if I have to move this exact same stuff one more time, I'm going to cry. I really do enjoy condensing merchandise though. It's like a puzzle, and it totally feeds my obsessive-compulsiveness.
I voted today! I was so relieved I got my absentee ballot in the mail in time. For a long time I wasn't going to vote, because I just didn't care enough about either candidate to actually cast a vote for them. However, this past week or so, for some reason, one of the candidates really showed me that if he was president, he would change this county for the better, even if it's just a little bit. He showed me a bit of hope, and I believed him, so he got my vote.
I decided I'm going to be Buffy for Halloween!! hahah. I have to work both jobs, but I can dress up at the coffee shop that night, so I'm totally going to. All I have to do is get a necklace with a cross on it, I'm going to find a stake somewhere, and I think I'm going to make a shirt that says "I <3 Vampires" on it. LOL. I'm so fun.
Tonight I'm totally relaxing. I have a few e-mails to write, then I'm going to watch a movie. =) I was planning on doing more shopping and errands, but I'll save that for tomorrow night when I have more energy.
Tom might have convinced me to get a Myspace page again. We'll see. =/
p.s. There's a chance of snow showers tomorrow. Oh, Northern Michigan, snow in October??
