1600 Bay Hill Terrace, Apt. 3

This is what you see when you first walk in, kind of. It's supposed to be a "dining area", but I turned it into more of a den. I have lots of books, no dining table, and my console just fits so perfectly!

Looove my console. Yes, I bought lots of fall items from Pier 1. hehe.

Shot from the living room area.

My living room.

I hate the corner where my vacuum cleaner is. It's just a corner that I have nothing else to do with until the Christmas tree goes up. haha.

IN-UNIT WASHER/DRYER. FAVORITE.

Cute bathroom. Not a lot of space, but that just means less to clean!

Kitchen. Again, small, but it has a TON of cupboard space and a lot of counter space which is way important. I do hate the flourescent lighting though. blah.

Bedroom.

Patio! I haven't done much with it, because with the impending Michigan winter, I didn't see a whole lot of point. But my table and chairs are out and it makes for a nice outdoor spot to sit and read or what have you.

From my living room. My own little front yard!

And, as a side note, these are the crepes that I MADE for dinner last week. I made crepes!!!! Be impressed!

It's small, but it's so cozy, and it's all mine, and I really love it. ♥

Today was such a great day. I love when you're busy, but everything you're busy with is actually fun and things you can't wait to do. I went to church this morning, and as always, left with such a peaceful and positive outlook on life. It's the one time and the one place during the week where I can sit and quiet my thoughts, and really focus on prayers and finding peace within my 24-7 mind [and heart].

I took myself shopping to finally spend my $50 gift card I had saved for Pier 1. Laid [lied? lay?] on the beach for a few hours. Ran some errands, ate dinner, gave my apartment a fall makeover, uploaded some photos, and watched a few episodes of "Buffy", which seriously had me in tears from laughing. I love when TV shows are serious and dramatic, but they still have the ability to have some terribly funny parts. AND, Angel was in one of them. YAY.

Tomorrow is September 1. Crazy crazy.

And finally, a note from the dashboard:

Not a day passes over this earth but men and women of note do great deeds, speak great words, and suffer noble sorrows. - Charles Reed
