A Little Disappointed
Ok so tonight I played in my very first slow pitch game. So my first at bat I strike out! I didn't get a hit at all in 2 games nor did I even get the ball out of the infield! I did fine in the outfield, got 3 balls (1 fly and 2 grounders). It wasn't really want I wanted it to be I don't think. I don't know if it made me miss the game more since those two games weren't real competative and I was the only one really jogging onto and off the field. I guess I was expecting it to be fast pitch or something. You know where everyone hustles and you don't feel like a nerd running hits out or actually trying. Oh well, I just need to come to terms with the game I loved and played for so long being overwith and figure out that its never going to be the same again. Not a day goes by that I don't think about it or miss it, its rather pathetic to most people I would assume. I'll snap out of it someday I suppose!
On a good note, Ryne's birthday was yesterday! His present didn't come in so I printed off a picture of it and gave it to him with his card. He seemed rather pleased with what he would be receiving once it came in. With his birthday past, next is our 2 year which is September 23rd! Well now that I have internet that works, I'll probably post a lot more often so check on it from time to time to see whats new. Later
