Yes I understand fear, I have plenty of it built up right here

I watch as the prostitute that lives downstairs climbs into a strangers car across the street. Both of them look scared to death of people watching them, as I watch them. The gay guy that lives above me is playing reggae music very loudly and I'm thankful that it is no longer house music. The gay guy that lives across from me is cooking something that smells like it has curry in it. The family is quiet but I'm sure are smiling and nodding to each other over sparkling crystal wine glasses.
The street is open today as black guys on cell phones yell laughter at one another from across the street. Was that a crack deal or were they just shaking hands? The Japanese man in the white truck that ran over our frisbee two days ago pulls onto the curb, parked illegally with his four ways on. He must be one of those people that think you can park anywhere with your four ways on. The parking enforcement misses a fish as he drives off.
I wonder how many people are carrying guns on this street.

I'm waking up next to the only person I want to wake up next to.
I drink and get bought drinks, so the world really is round.

I meet eyes with an alcoholic walking on the street and look away. What is that Japanese guy doing?

Oh, and no, I don't really like writing interesting things. They are all just disguises for boring words that want to sleep in the sentences on tax returns.

I wonder if that alcoholic really likes that faded pink golf shirt or if it's all he has without red vomit on it.
