My dad was always big on setting goals. And one thing I know about goals, if you make them public, you are more likely to keep to them. So I am posting some personal goals for all to see. Plus I can check back and make sure I reach them.
Dead line..Dec 1, 2007. Yeah, my 26 b-day. If I fail to reach my goals by then, I do not get a party.
1) Be downto/upto 260lbs. I tend to like the way I look at that weight, as long as it's distributed properly.
2) Bench 5 reps of 315lbs. Current only back up to 7 reps at 225, but I was at 5 reps at 185 2 weeks ago. I used to be at 5 reps of 375...so 315 should be easy.
3) 500 freestyle in under 6:00.00. In high school I could do a 5:35...but I was never as strong back then.
Alright, off to work towards these goals, morning swim. I will hit the gym in the evening. Works starts Monday, so won't be able to doubles much longer unless I start getting up early.
