Hi everyone,
I'm alive.
Yes, I am back from lovely, lovely China.
I haven't been back in 6 years, and the city Nantong has changed SO MUCH. I hardly recognized it!
Nantong is considered a small-medium sized city in China. But wow...it's SO SO SO metropolitan...especially in the downtown area...there's skyscraper after skyscraper until your eyes can't stretch any further...it's amazing. haha..kinda makes me think of big cities in the U.S. like New York. It's really nothing like medium sized cities in America..
However, the pollution problem in China is also rather apparent, there's hardly a single day where I see blue sky..it's always grey or foggy or raining..='(
Kinda depressing..
The living condition in China is not at all under-par compared to the U.S. Most people have a/c in their houses, and all my parents' friends' houses are really nicely furnished...and from what people have told me, salary for all professions are on the steep rise, so most families have more than enough money to spend on luxury items. YAY.
Shopping in China is AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME!!! Everything's SO cheap, and most of the time, you can still haggle with the seller to lower the prices even more..teehee, I love haggling! I can reduce something from 200 RMB to 70 RMB or so...amazing.
I really regret not being able to take any pictures of China because my camera BROKE!!!!! What happened was...I went to visit this museum, and it was raining...the floor was marble, and I slipped...of course, when I went down, my camera went down as well since I was holding it in my hands...STUPID STUPID STUPID! argh. ='(
While I was in China, I got a facial done..and a full body massage....I've decided I like facials A LOT, but I hate massages...it's painful!
A rant I must make about Chinese people in China...they stare A LOT...at anything that catches their attention: ppl...events, things. It's really quite rude, and awkward.
During my stay in China, I also got reallly really sick one day, and had to go to the hospital and get some fluids transferred into my body. I'm not quite sure what the procedure's called in English, but they had to get a needle into my veins, and then these medicine water just flowed into me....in Chinese, it's called "gua shui"..erm..yeah. It was painful, and I had to get shots on my butt cheeks too..ow.
Finally, I took like 849328492849032 photobooth pictures with my cousins. They are SO CUTE and SO FUN. I LOVE PHOTOBOOTH PICS! haha. I also got some studio pictures taken. I think they turned out ok. My uncle paid for them since he works for the government, and his office is right across from the studio potrait place..I'm pretty sure he got a big discount..
So, now I will proceed to exhibit the pictures.
Don't mind the English, they don't make sense...afterall..this was taken in China.
My legs look ridiculously fat in this picture, plz excuse
Yeah..the words on the shirt don't make sense..I'm aware.
My stomach is really pudgy looking in this pic. haha.
That's it. Leave me lots of love guys!
