Squeak

We're sitting on John's back porch. He's playing guitar for the first time since a week or so before the move. It's been a while. At a little cafe-like table, it's the perfect atmosphere, besides the squeaking ceiling fan. I love when he plays.

We went to Illinois State Beach. Traffic for Great America was just too much. We went swimming, laid and talked, sat and looked at rocks and talked. I got a little sunburn. My back itches.

We got our John Mayer tickets yesterday. I really don't like his pop-first albums stuff, but if I like jazz and blues, I think I can handle it. Hopefully, no stupid screaming girls or else they get punched. Then after, John and I are getting a hotel room so we don't have to drive home at all hours of the night. That's pretty exciting too.

*I almost forgot! We bought a tent! On a splurge at Sport's Authority in Gurnee Mills, it was only $30! How can you go wrong? So now we can camp whenever we want and all of the accessories I bought John for his birthday like the toaster and the space blanket will not go unused!

One year ago, we did an all-nighter and ended up at Nickel Knoll to watch the sunrise. Then after the Modest Mouse concert, John spent the night. The one year anniversary of me shaking, as well. (Gee it only took me a year to go to the doctor, look into what's wrong with me, and find out I have an anxiety disorder.) But those were some of the best memories of high school. Thank you again to all who participated in that all-nighter. I had a blast.
