once again, a weekend update.
the weeks have become uneventful. i talk with people in class. i talk with teachers in fl/ss during second hour. at lunch, we battle with freshmen for our table, they get bitchier and we get ruder. i get homework done after school. and i sit around a lot. i find errands to run and shopping to do so i can have a break and get out of my house after school. even though it is so uneventful and boring, the weeks are going by semi fast. it's already mid february. then march is spring break, april is 1 year celebration, may is my birthday and ap tests, and june is non existant for seniors because graduation is the 5th. rollin right by.
friday: woodfield with chris and john, then buffalo wild wings where amy met us up. i had it all set up to ask john to turnabout, even though we're not going to the dance, but the manager told me he couldn't do it how he said he would, when we got there, so he printed an order ticket with "john, will you go to turnabout with me? - jen" on it. very nice. they know us by name there now. the trivia game is addicting. john and chris are registered users for when they return. our waiter had one arm. coolest thing ever, how he managed to overcome his disability, he totally hit on me and amy too, "of course i'll get you a refill, anything you want sweetie." i was a little disappointed that no one else came.
saturday: working at berruti's once again, it felt good to be back. got into long conversations with many of the customers which led to lots of tips. yesss. they're changing to longer shifts, which is good. working there for 6 hours is no problem, as long as there are customers. it was getting pretty dead so they let me go around 3:30. horray for money. then went to johns for a while, just relaxed because i no longer know how to do that too well, then came home a little early, got woken up by a call from bob.
sunday: a day full of homework. crime and punishment paper is due tomorrow and i know nothing of what im writing. i have no focus which is why distractions like this keep me from working on it. i bought in style magazine yesterday that's looking pretty interesting. and i have to work on my valentines to hand out to people, so we'll see when i actually finish this paper. i think i need to run some errands too, to get out of this house for a little while.
