what i did on my day off by jennifer rhodes.
today i had a day off from school. i slept in. around 1 o clock, i went to the jelly belly factory in wisconsin with john, micah, bob, and brett. we drove down the expressway with the windows down for a bit. my window was stuck and when i finally got it unstuck, it sounded like the window flew off. it was scary. we got there really fast. there was a giant cloud in the sky and we were scared. we thought that it was another genocide, but this time in wisconsin. we went in and thought we were gonna be the only ones on the train but there were more hiding in the gift shop. i walked into the speaker on the train, ouch. then the little girl behind me in the train was talking about how she's met martin luther king, jr. before. that was weird. we took the tour and watched the movies. then we got free jelly bellies and jbz. then we browsed through the gift shop. micah bought 10 lbs of bellies. bob, brett, and john also bought a joint 10 lbs. only 15 bucks! then at the snack shop, we got to try the different kinds and the different recipes they can make. i had a blueberry muffin, garlic bread, spaghetti, tiramisu, a strawberry margarita, and some other things. i was so full! then we went to mars cheese castle. i got cheese and beef. probably the most unhealthy day i've ever had. then we drove home. i had a really good day off.
