holy shit!
i havent made an entry in about a month. much apologies my sweet livejournal, but ive been busy working everyday.
so what has happened.
hmm. not long after my last entry i ate some mushrooms in my basement by myself. which was pretty good, but not great. the best part was when i took a shower. it was pretty amazing. i stood there under the warm rain tracing the muscles under my skin and thought about what a complicated perfect machine i had become.
our softball team finished the regular season last week with 4 wins and 9 losses. sounds pretty bad i know, but i really think we have a good chance in the playoffs.
ive started buying the modest mouse albums that i only had burned copies of. i just got building nothing, i was shocked when i realized i had no idea what the actual cd even looked like.
that was a great day when it came in the mail.
i got really stoned, sat in my basement with the lights off, and listened at very loud volume through headphones.
on a side note, im no longer able to download music, and havent been for a couple weeks. i guess this is alright, its giving me a chance to look into my library for music instead of constantly getting new stuff, but its frustrating just the same.
my parents went out of town for 5 days the other weekend. which was gorgeous. we set up all of our equpiment, including beer's old drumset, in my basement, and we almost have 3 songs now.
thenagain weve almost had 3 songs for a long time. we are so bad at organizing.
anyways, it is my hope that hellen keller plays a show before the summer is out. i think its possible, maybe.
alright, so right now im gonna head over to spikes place and practice. he just moved into a place on maryland, which is much closer to me than before. sorry if i left out anything (which im sure did) either i just forgot or its too personal at the moment.
