went to owosso last night to visit neal. it was surprisingly low-key. no strip-club. no overweight strippers sitting on my lap. no uncomfortableness. it was pretty okay. all of those guys from my summer at the movie theater are married with children now. mind-blowing. neal's gained a little weight, he says he's about 300 lbs. i've lost a little weight, putting me at 140. we shared a double bed at a terrifying, dungeon-esque hotel called "the pines." it's been a quite a few years since i've slept in the same bed with neal and luckily there were no attempts at spooning with me, though he did roll his wall of flesh right up against me a couple times. my dreams saved me though...
