*Hope of being rescued has gone way down now that it's been five whole weeks since they crash-landed. The really weak have died off, and there's a group left who are more like a community than ever. Since they're such a small, tight-knit group, it's easy for Naruto to see when someone is acting differently than the rest, and he's had his eye on Tenten for a while. She hasn't been shunning anyone a la Kankuro, but she's definitely doing her own thing.*
