*The sun is getting ready to set and people are building their nightly bonfires. Naruto's sitting on a rock, the rock he sat on when Sakura cut his hair, watching it all and being impressed by the way everyone seems to take sharing and taking shifts doing certain things seriously. Since he's not cynical he's not wondering how long it will last, even though he rightly should be.*
*He's dry now from before when he fell into the water, but his jeans are feeling very stiff and uncomfortable because they air dried. They'll work it out eventually because he's going to keep wearing them (so he thinks), so he's not that worried, just a little uncomfortable.*
*His boots and socks are sitting beside him on the sand and his feet are bare. He took them off to get sand out of them and to let them dry properly since they were still damp inside. Hopefully they'll be good by the morning or else he'll have to put his feet into wet boots.*
