Two event announcements
1) Event: Waifs and Strays Christmas 2012
Starting: 2012-12-25, the Morning of Tuesday the 25th of December 2012
Ending: 2012-12-25, the Evening of Tuesday the 25th of December 2012

Waifs and Strays' Christmas will be on again. It's a Christmas Day pot-luck lunch and dinner for those KAOSians, mediaevalists and suchlike friends, associates and acquaintances who find themselves at a loose end, away from family or wanting to escape their relatives for a bit, or are just seeking to catch up with others. Guests are encouraged to bring food, drink and entertainment to share.
The doors will be open from 11:30 am and we expect to begin lunch around 1:30 pm. Dinner occurs if and when people get hungry again. Things go on until we run out of people.
Volunteers to assist with tidying and cleanup during the day would be heartily welcomed.

2) Event: 21st Annual Christmas Party
Starting: 2012-12-15, the Evening of Saturday the 15th of December 2012

For archaic reasons the primal souls demand attenders bring a present (~$10, humour and originality appreciated).
Oh wait a minute, the reasons aren't unknown - everyone who brings a present for the tree gets a present from Santa among mirth and merriment."
To clarify, participation in the gift exchange is not compulsory. If you contribute a gift, you're eligible to receive a gift when Santa Euan distributes them.
