interesting fact...

You guys remember the Spirit of Washington train that used to run up the east side of Lake Washington and take people up to Woodinville and back? Well, I was told by a friend of mine that they shortly had it running up and down the Tacoma line all the way into Kapowsin (near the foot of Mount Rainier). It lost a lot of business only for the fact that Kapowsin doesn't have a winery at the end of its line. (Too many pretentious Seattle fucks drunk on wine was their buyer's demographic?)

What I hear that's really funny is that in the next decade, they are planning on building a light rail that will span the entire length of the old BNSF line (the one that the Spirit of Washington train ran on), and they plan to only charge people anywhere between $3-4 for anybody to ride the full length when completed. Seems like a big "fuck you" to the Spirit of Washington, doesn't it? Especially for if they decide the rail line to stop at the winery...
