Well, I'm back at home and as per instructions I'm resting. Dear god it's boring as anything back here. Considering how the year ended though, I definitely prefer boredom. Hopefully everyone got back safely to their parents and all that, I know most of you have. When I got back I had about two hours with my Pop before he had to run off, and my mother said goodbye to me via a headset.

The only other person to talk to around here is...her. This addlebrained nurse my father hired to watch over me (he said nurse with a wink, so I'm not even sure I should be calling her that) is about as sharp as a quaffle. She just sort of scurries about the apartment and, on occassion, she messes up the grocery list. I seriously think I could do better hobbling about by myself than having to fix everything that she messes up. To date, she has smashed two vases, a plate, and in a rather impressive display a microwave oven. My attempt at conversation has been, shall we say, fruitless? I'd rather not go into the discussions I've brought up, but I truly believe at this point that she survives by instinct and luck alone. Nice pair of legs though, I will give her that.

I end this entry by saying please, if ever anyone's bored over the summer do drop by. About mid-July I'll be moved to the Bristol apartment but both are in the Floo Network. Trust me, I need the company.

Ugh...make that two plates.
