Path is lit, I walk, I struggle, I conquer

Lot has happened in the last couple weeks. I've been mainly concerned with MEPS appointment. I went there by van yesterday - took the ASVAB (score: 71%) when I got there, stayed in a nice hotel last night. I had to get up at 4:30 this morning and hop around like a trained primate all fucking day. I have to go back because the doc that examined me said that my spine was slightly curved (scoliosis), so I'll go back next friday and if everything works out I'll go through the ceremony to be sworn in. Enough of that; went over Anthony's hizhouse to watch a movie with his wife, Jessica, and April - Anthony and I watched GiTS2 Innocence; was an awesome movie except it was in Japanese :-X. I've been running the past couple of weeks, tomorrow is another running day, I can tell an increase in stamina 2mi. I just watched Hero, which was a good movie. It's reputation isn't that great, but I think the movie is based on honor - today's world doesn't seem to possess much of it. A good friend of mine and I have discussed what it means to have honor, I believe I lack some honor. But honor is like beauty which is perceived through the eyes of the beholder. I have to admire the beauty of swordsmenship - it is close up and personal between you and the enemy with emotions aside, unlike modern warfare which has a completely different perspective on honor than the old Japanese tradition, heh. Even the worse criminals are honored today, as their names live on even after death. But it's all in the eyes of the beholder. More on this later. Night
