Pegg-tastic.
You guys.
I had such a British weekend - celli and I watched some Life on Mars (JOHNSIMM!), and she showed me Noises Off! which was a hoot, and we saw Death at a Funeral, which, you know, was COMPLETELY different from what I expected, but was certainly enjoyable nonetheless.
However… the best part of this weekend, by far, was re-discovering my white-hot, passionate, never-ending love for Hot Fuzz. I even dragged celli to Blockbuster late Sunday night, just to buy the dvd, so I could make her watch it - though now I am lamenting the fact that I don’t have the two-disc special edition with all the extra features. I spent all last night watching what special features I do have, and omg, I just love it so so hard. Seriously, I don’t think I could have asked for anything more from the film - it was hilarious and sharply-written and just… perfect.
I honestly cannot recommend it enough. Edgar Wright & Simon Pegg > everyone. ♥ ♥ ♥
Also, Simon Pegg as Nick Angel = HOTT. Even celli cannot deny this.
