Wentzish.

Jan 25, 2010 20:20

I opened up iTunes for the first time in a long while--I have been listening to internet radio a lot recently--and I decided I wanted to write some Pete Wentz poetry. :)

For those who don't remember, The "Be Pete Wentz" Poetry Meme works thusly:

  1. Put your music player of choice on shuffle.
  2. The first lines of twenty songs = a poem; the first line of the twenty-first song is the title.

Easy-peasy! :D

Turn Her Over

And it feels right this time
She got out of town
I'm out on a bender
Oh, my talking bird

Sunshine, I'd really like to tell you
This could be the saddest dusk
You were my sun
The world seems not the same

Been up all night
Well I've been a losin' gambler
Every finger in the room is pointing at me
I'll fascinate you for a while

If I had my way
Thinking I'll fly away
This isn't your song,
Someone else's world goes by

***

he waits for the greater silence

Yeah, I love you
Drink up, baby, stay up all night
I like the peace
Look through me because I am transparent

Let's not worry when we're 30
The winters mar the Earth
There's honey all around us
Everyone's right and no one is sorry

All these places part of me
Good times for a change
The how I can't recall
I may not always love you

These walls are paper thin
I know the stars that shine on me
You think I'd leave your side, baby
Care about the moonlight

For bonus fun, see how many lines you recognize!

In other news, YAY COLTS! YAY PEYTON! ILU KITTY! ♥

(me) ridiculous, (me) meme
