Back home again in Chicago! MJ was AMAAAAZING, you guys, as advertised. Everyone was fun and funny and clever, the panels were interesting and well-organized, and I got inspired to work on some of my WIPs again, fingers crossed! (I also might have suggested I would write a story turning both Merlin and Arthur into lady cows, but after that the conversation got weird, so... probably not?)
I met many new and fascinating fangirls to crush on -- in addition to seeing some of my favorites again, however briefly -- and drank and danced and drank and laughed my face off and drank. I even got pulled on-stage with a very pretty drag queen, TWICE!
I definitely declare this weekend a win, and the hangovers were mostly worth it. (Seriously, though, kids -- just stop after three Long Island Ice Teas. That is ENOUGH for anyone. Don't be a hero.)
Unfortunately, today I've succumb to some strain of con plague, so... I'm just gonna go curl up with a kitty and a blanket for a while longer and lament the tragic lack of serving boys to cater to my whims. SIGH.
On a side note, I got to watch this week's episode of SPN with a big group of squeeing fangirls, which made a fantastic episode even more delightful. And then I get home and OMG HA HA HA SPN FANDOM. I'm sorry, but some of you are so serious business, I cannot help but lol. Well, that and wallow in how much the show rocks my face off, holy shit! &DEAN; &SAM; &CAS;
