I feel like the worst person ever. I took the cats to the shelter today, because, hell, we can't even afford to take us to the doctor, much less take animals to the vet, and we haven't had any luck finding homes for them. And the kittens are adorable, and the mama cat is very affectionate, so I'm fairly sure that they'll find homes before they'd have to be put down, but I'm not positive, and that makes me feel like I killed them. That's the bottom line; I feel responsible. I signed over my responsibility to the shelter, but I'm going to worry about it for the next few days, at least.
