Just so you know . . .
This is not a response to any one person in particular.
But . . .
It's my blog, dammit. And if I sound like a liberal, it's because it sounds much more human to be a liberal at this time than it does to be a conservative.
And it's my blog and you're not going to claim I don't know about the military. I was an Air Force wife for a year, and an Air Force contractor's wife for another 10. I was raised a stone's throw from the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (which is actually in Kittery, ME), and my kami-grandfather worked there, as did two uncles. My brother served in the Army (he weaseled out of a lot of shit, but he served proudly).
Just so that's straight -- I'm no babe-in-arms when it comes to the military. I've earned my opinion.
