iai - iai appears to be falling victim to both my work schedule (only made it every other week for about the past 6 weeks) and my primary art. Plus, every time I've done iai lately my hip has bothered me for a couple days after. I think it's the artificial toed-in position that's to blame, because it rotates my entire leg. I don't feel the same sort of pain after doing TBr sword. Am I at a crossroads?
judo - Maybe I should just pull this off the recaps.
naginata - My latest reproduction project (that is, the latest thing which I'm going to replicate/improve): Mrs. Boss's kama, minus the rope and fundo that represents the kusari (weighted chain).
Plus I might be getting to Sword Fest in Virginia next month. *crosses fingers* That would be great for the weapon-making hobby, as well as good experience for me as the baby Buckaroo.
work - Two down. With an upcoming vacation, we'll be three down for one week, for the week that finishes with Sword Fest. So that's the maybe part of it. Busy, busy, busy . . .
family - Shannon's being mopey and depressed about school. I think she's just tired of working so hard. I'm glad they've got vacation next week.
school - Got my credit award back on my childbirth educator certification: all 12 credits I asked for! I'm just short the 4 credits for computer literacy that will be covered by the portfolio I'm working on now.
reading - nothing, really, though I did just pick up a book on hand tools.
writing - Ha!
Learning Japanese - Holding pattern. Though I did learn the proper way to pronounce seppuku yesterday.
