so, instead of raining all weekend, it was chilly and sunny and pleasant. shelley's gone to florida, so i'm cat sitting. and i went home to see my parents and to wish my grandma a happy trip back to louisiana. it's hard to believe that in a week it will have been 10 years since my grandpa died. that makes me feel old. for some reason going home always leaves me feeling like i'm making good decisions in my life. like, for some reason, i feel rejuvinated when i leave there. i finished two songs, and have the list i'm playing in my opening set. i'm getting excited. and confident. when the hell did *that* happen? busy week of school and work ahead.
in other news, getting let down doesn't hurt the way it once might have. imagine my surprise to find that you're so ordinary.
