Time takes time ya' know...

So today I wake up to no Conor. It's only 1:18, so I feel like if I go up stairs to his room he'll still be sleeping, but I know he's not. I didn't get to say a real good-bye, though I don't know if that really matters, but I wanted to, even if I'm gonna see him again. I didn't want to have him see me crying, so I haven't done it around him. Plus, I know he's excited, though a little wary, so I'm happy and excited for him. I know he's gonna have a killer time, and I'll be able to go on road trips to see him with friends, but having him go off to college just lets me know my life, and definitely his, has changed forever and it means we're that much closer to starting our own lives as adults. It shows we're growing up and aren't the three teenagers/kids anymore. Well, technically Riley and I still are, but you know what I mean. We're not together anymore. Ah, weird. I guess I also knew that he would leave eventually, but I never really thought the day would come, as stupid as that sounds. I've never known life without him being there within arms reach of me.

On a lighter note, last night was possibly one of the best night's I've had in a long time. I'll start from the beginning. After marching band practice, I went home and showered so I wouldn't stink up everywhere I went. Then I called Lara, and after she showered, she picked me up and we went to Matt Proctor's house. We ended up taking his car so we could all go legally, and picked Jenna and Zack up. We then headed over to that place Maxwell's (over by the two gas stations and the interstate), and we discovered it was actually TIO Maxwell's, and was some shady Mexican place, and they told us they were closed, though I think they were lying to us.

So, in it's place we naturally went to Taco Bell and pigged out, all of us jammed into one booth. Then we wanted to go bowling, so we went to the base, all the while listening to some kick-ass music such as the "Camp Anawana (sp?)" theme. Many more like that, plus just some good music, followed. When we got to the bowling alley, and there was no one at the desk to help us, so we went searching for the people who worked there. They then told us that they closed at nine and it was already 8:30, so we left. We met up with Fuzzy at the base's Subway, and we all went to Matt's house after doing a donut in the parking lot, speeding down the highway, and Fuzzy hitting the back of Matt's car. We decided to go kayaking in the back of Matt's house, leading to all of us falling in at some point, not to mention we had water guns. A little while later we decided to just swim, and Matt and Fuzzy got naked and were swimming around. The water was dark, so we didn't see anything until they decided to climb on Matt's neighbor's boat (the black people, Matt later told us, adding that, "They're black, what're they gonna do with a boat?") and run of their dock naked. After we eventually all got out, clothed, we went into Matt's basement and played ping-pong, ate some ice-cream (except for Fuzzy, he got cereal), and watched some of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show," though Matt kept skipping parts of it. Lara eventually took me home, and that was that. Fun times. Now to do some AP work...

AP UPDATE: I have almost finished!! Now I only have to revise my essay and fill out that Revision Report, which is BS anyway. Oh, and I have to highlight, but that'll be nothing. :)
