First entry
To be honest I don't know what to say. I'm kind of bored right now. I'm fighting a cold, my husband and son are too.
A little bit about myself. I am almost 51 years old, slightly overweight, short woman who just celebrated 29 years of marriage. We have 2 children. My daughter is 24 and married. Her husband is Army stationed in Kansas. He just came back (in May) from his second tour in Iraq. They didn't waste any time and she is pregnant again. My grandson will be a year in 3 weeks and the new baby is due in April. My son is a 19 year old high schooler with autism. He is in 12th grade for the second time. In our school system disabled children can remain in 12th grade until they are 22. I am currently employed as a substitute teacher and working occasionally with a temporary agency. Unfortunately, this year so far has been kind of slow. I would look for something more permanent but have to be available to take time off for my son (I'm his guardian advocate and have to take care of his doctor appointments and school meetings). I am also going to spend a month in Kansas taking care of my grandson when my daughter has the baby.
My mother also lives with us. She's only 72 but she's letting herself stagnate and she's getting forgetful. Drives me crazy.
I love to read and love Janto (Jack/Ianto from Torchwood), and Drarry (Harry Potter/Draco Malfoy from Harry Potter). I also like to read Amanda Quick, Julia Quinn and Julie Garwood books (the ones that take place in the 18-19th centuries) I love The Dresden Files books by Jim Butcher.
