New Job!
Well, as of oct 8th I'll be movin' on. I'll be taking a position as "eCommerce Manager" with the marketing dept of the pharmaceutical division of United Healthcare.
It's very bittersweet, and a bit scary, but pretty exciting. I'll be moving from a less directly technical role to more of a project and vendor management position. That is where I'd like to go career wise, but I've never been a "manager" of anything but myself, so it should be interesting to see how that goes.
Should be interesting to see how my old coworkers take it, I'll probably have to do some consulting work for a while to manage the transition smoothly. I'm sure a lot of them are going to be pretty nervous.
Looking forward to working closer, being done with Oracle, and the (significantly) extra bling.
I'll miss building things with my bare hands, and... umm... well not much else.
