the past few weeks
I have been busy and I have been sick. The sickness resulted in a trip to the Immediate Care when my throat closed up and I couldn't swallow or speak. I did not have strep nor any form of flu. Instead, I was diagnosed with a 'viral infection' and, of course, there's not really anything you can do about that.
Today, I am cold and I am tired. Very tired. Mainly because I did not sleep at all well last night.
This evening, there is a simulcast of Lee Strobel's 'The Case For Christmas' at our church. I am determined to stay awake for it.
I am in the process of writing Christmas cards. I have made my list of recipients. After previous years of sending cards because people wanted one, but not actually receiving very many, I decided to change things. I am choosing to send cards to certain people. I note some people have made posts asking for addresses and such. If you want to send me a card, that is because you want to, and not because you feel obligated. And I have not moved in the past year either.
