Apologies to my fellow Twitterers!
I think I got a bit into that Tour de France Team Time Trial today! Astana was the last team to start and everyone wondered if Lance Armstrong could get the coverted Yellow Jersey. Well, Astana won the event, but Fabian Cancellara retained the Jersey. It came down to tenths of a second apparently.
I've been able to cheer quite a bit for these 4 stages. Lance Armstrong and Levi Leipheimer have done well, and Mark Cavendish has won 2 stages. So I've been doing the favourite, patriotic and the home-country thing.
And so far, there have been no doping scandals...
Of course, I do blame Heath for my growing interest in this event. I think I began watching so I could go "I know who won, nyah, nyah," when he got home from work. But I think the joke is now on me.
Heath is also now on Twitter. He's also asked me to show him how to get his cellphone set up so he doesn't miss any Tour de France tweets while at Shore Leave. I think he and I just corrupt each other!
Anyway, my fellow Twitterers, I shall now shut up about Le Tour for the rest of the day!
