It's a beautiful day in the neighbourhood...

Well, maybe not our neighbourhood.

This morning began with Heath emptying boxes around me in the bedroom. He found out from the university that he can save a lot of money if he wears his old graduation robes from 11 years ago. He'll only need to pay around $30 for the doctorate hood instead of almost $90 for hood and robes. We both knew we'd seen it somewhere... While I attempted to read a chapter of the new Max Lucado book, he unpacked. I'm happy to say he also decided to chuck out a garish shirt I've hated for years. And I didn't have to say a word! I found a cd I didn't know I had, and an old Harrogate Advertiser clipping of Ade that mother had sent over. And yes, Heath has found the robes.

Last year, I found the boat race on the telly. This year, I don't recall what channel it was on! I've got another couple of hours though.

I did find Night of the Comet on the Scifi channel though. That was worth a laugh for about 10 minutes. Sheesh, Beltran HAS put on a lot of weight. That reminds me, still need to find Lone Wolf McQuade on dvd.

AND... Scifi is to show The Sarah-Jane Adventures! I had no idea until I saw a preview for it. That's going to be a 'must-see' on my list.

Today, I hope to throw Heath out for a bit. Temperature is still below freezing, but it should get to mid-40s and remain very sunny. I then plan on getting some books and kitchen stuff packed up.

I can tear down the plastic covering the living room window. Hurrah! I can get the window open!

I need to go trawling for some X-Files icons. Especially since I keep responding to my sister's posts about XFN.

Speaking of XFN, they've got a tshirt for sale now that my own sarken designed. You know I'm going to have to get one of those. Eventually.

(Oh dear, I just channel-hopped. Beltran was in a Santa suit. And he managed to make it look pornographic. And not in a good way. Think that might have been better for his Chakotay-era self to wear.)

Anyway, yeah, tshirt. Think I'll have to wait until we move, though. I've no idea how long that company takes to ship. And I can't afford the shirt for another couple of weeks. Hey, sis, I'm not sure how many you guys get to sell (as many as there is demand?), but I want one, okay?

Okay, 'm hungry. Need to find food.

Speaking of food... we have a possum living where the cats used to under the trailer. Seriously. A real live possum. We saw it the other night.

h, doctor who / torchwood, moving, sport, movies, ade payne
