In class we were talking about the poem The story of an hour, its about this woman who thought her husband died in a fire, she was sad but I think she was also relieved that she wasn’t tired down and didn’t have any responsibly to take care of anyone and etc. Mrs. Mallard went up to her room to think about everything, she did love Mr. Mallard but I think she thought maybe hush into marriage that she wasn’t really about at the time but people talk to her into. While she was up in her room she was probably thinking about everything she could do maybe take a trip, stay out later every night, get a job of her owe, or maybe find someone that she would want to spend the rest of her live with and not having any doubts. But Mrs. Mallard seem not to be an out going person because I think all she knew is to be a wife and nothing else. But when she finally went downstairs and found out that her husband wasn’t actually die I honesty think she was probably relieved that he didn’t die a painful death because no one needs. But depth down she was probably disappointed that she doesn’t have freedom anyone and she would have to answer to someone again and that didn’t sound very good to Mrs. Mallard but at the end of the poem she ended up dying from a heart trouble and people were saying her heart stop because of joy oh do they know that wasn’t the case at all.
