Last night I saw Pat Benatar in concert

Last night I saw Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo with Lennon as the opening act at the Bank of America Pavillion in Boston. The show ran from 7:30 PM - 10:10 PM. Lennon took the stage from 7:30 PM - 8:10 PM; and Pat Benatar took the stage from 8:30 PM - 10:10 PM.

Overall, the show as decent. There were some songs that I really wanted to hear that she didn't do. I was expecting her to do her greatest hits. She did some of her hits and pulled material from other albums that I didn't recognize. She even did a cover of a John Couger song. The three songs I wanted to hear but didn't were: Little Too Late, Sex As Weapon, and La Bel Age. Three of the songs were accoustic while the rest were plugged in.

She was in good voice for the show. But I think age and touring had taken its toll because the songs arrangement seemed toned down to be a bit mellower. They were still all recognizable though. Also, I don't think she interacted with the audience that much. She and Neil did talk to us, but not a whole lot. There was the usual small talk and come comments on a song they were about to do, but that was about it. She also got the crowd involved in Hit Me With Your Best Shot which we did the chorus to. And on the intro to Invincible, she said it was the theme song to possibly the "worst movie ever made."
