And thus, the last of my (undergraduate) collegiate years has commenced.

I’m stoked about this semester. I’m only taking four classes (thank goodness!), and I’ve found that I have tons of time to sleep. THIS IS SO IMPORTANT. Mass Comm Law, World Religions, Hitchcock Films, and El cine del mundo hispanohablante. Over half the time I’m on campus is spent watching films. I dig it.

I think I’ve decided where I want to intern. Hopefully all works out and I’m able to do it for the month of December (it’s ridiculous how few clock hours are required for this), then if they ask me to stay on I should have the time to do so next semester. Then I graduate and have a job! Wishful thinking. It’s a start. :)

I’ve also FINALLY come up with an idea for my Honors project. I’m so behind in completing the paper work for this, so hopefully it’s approved and I don’t have to come up with something else. I want to make a short film in Spanish. This will utilize skills from both my major and minor, and I’ve got my faculty mentor lined up. I just have to find competent speakers/actors whose schedules line up with mine, write the script, secure locations, etc. The fun stuff!

And . . . my sister Chelsea has moved in with me! She’s the best. It’s fun to live with her again, especially as she’s just starting off with college. When she was moving in I also commandeered ownership of the stationary bike from my parents’ house, which I’ve been using the hell out of as part of my plan to be in near-perfect shape by January when I go to the Cayman Islands. Tara has family there, and she was nice enough to invite Jachin and I to spend two weeks in paradise. I plan to spend the whole time in a bikini, and for everyone else’s sake I’m trying to shape up.
