And she sneezed.

Spring is here for real, for all who have followed my quest for real sunlight and butterflies. There be flowers, even! Amazing, says I.

Less amazing is the fact that I'm sick. Why, I wonder, did I have to fall ill now that springtime has finally come? Because, I'll have to answer, there exists a law of irony. There be no other explanation. So I'm at home, chilling and reading up on just every interesting blog I can find. I even went and registered my Swedish blog at one of those blog-finding sites. Blogging is immensely popular in Sweden, for some reason. Yet, my blog has no readers. Which is OK, since I sort of missed out on that whole issue where your blog is meant to exist solely to get you readers... I blog more like I would in a diary/scrapbook, except I know there are people on my f-list who can and may read my diary... anywayz. I figured I could pimp my artwork if people can actually find my blog, so why not? Read away, by all means.

I'm all excited about the new series of Doctor Who, the return of Donna was a pleasant surprise! Although I'm not into them myself, I know there are a fair number of debates going on, claiming Rose/Martha/Whomever to be the "best" Tardis-companion. I like them all, for different reasons, but one of the things I really enjoy about Doctor Who is that the relationships aren't necessarily sexual. I was a bit disappointed by the whole Doctor and Rose kissing, since I always liked the idea of them being "just" best friends. The hand-holding thing the Doctor does, I find it very intimate. Like, you can kiss anyone or have sex with anyone, and it doesn't have to mean a thing. But to be holding hands, that means something. Holding hands is showing each other (and others) that you belong. To me, it does.

Naturally, anyone's free to imagine the Doctor and Rose having a far more intimate relationship in private. But personally, I believe the Doctor when he says he doesn't want to mate, just to have a Mate. ^_^

blog, doctor who, sick
