Baby, can you hear me, SOS?

Last night I got a call from SOS alarm. I was like "huh?", thinking for a split second that they'd caught me prank calling them or something...
They wanted me to open the gates for an ambulance that someone in the building had sent for. I thought it might be some sort of a joke, or maybe a hoax to get into the house, but no; an ambulance came. Seemed real, for all I could tell.
Still, I was quite perplexed. I don't think that's how they normally go about things: "Hey, we got an emergency-call, let's just call anyone who lives there. They might let us in". I would've thought they'd call the landlord or someone officially in charge... It might just have been really important for them to get in quickly, so they just checked everyone in the building to see if someone was home and could open, but it was still weird. I guess I'm now an officially Helpful Person.

This weekend, I made a Minizine for a presentation today:

Check out the making of the Zine in my Gallery! I posted it as an entry in a mini Comic competition at DevArt, although it might not officially qualify as a comic. If you're interested in making an entry of your own, read more here.

minizine, sos
