A new life or just a repeat?
So, I've been in Colorado for a month exactly today. So far it's not what I expected. Things seldom are. I do like it. I feel better all around. It's just that transitional period. I don't think it ever runs smoothly.
I've already left one job and started at another. I just wasn't getting enough work. I was only grooming a dog or two a day. I can't survive on that. So far at my new job things are going ok. I have plenty of work here. The travel is more than I wanted. It's a 1/2 hr away. I hear there's a lot of drama here too, so I'm worried about that. I'm so not into it.
Hugh is working nights so I don't get to see him too often. It's brutal. He works 12hr shifts. As soon as I get home he is out the door. As soon as he comes home from work, I'm out the door. At least he doesn't work every day though.
I am a little homesick. Darryl moved back home just as I left. I'm so bummed about that because I was planning on being able to see him often when he found his way out here.
