The Devil will find work for idle hands to do...

... Or at least that's the theory. In actual fact, my hands were idle to the point of calcifying last week, but the most I managed to actually, really do was mooch around a bit.

Yes, I was on holiday, y'see. And, just as I find with a weekend - there's always a few things that you want to do in life which byou save up to do in your two days off and then when they arrive you just get as fucked as possible... Well, put it this way - there were a LOT more things I meant to do last week.

Have finally got around to looking at things on the net about funding a new business. It looks like the key to getting funding for a new business is to be under 30 but old enough to read - then you're sorted. I really don't see funding as that much of a problem - I've been able to do a good pitch all my life, and turn on a bit of charm... The problem with that is it's all bullshit - which is why I could never try a business on my own. Someone else has to be there to hold my hand and make sure I don't sit on my arse all day.

The most productive thing I did last week was help Mel finish moving completely and utterly, and then having a curry. Not that that was a bad night, but it goes as a mark of how drab I have allowed my life to become, when that's the highlight of the week. I've become far too comfortable being boring. It's also turning me a bit reclusive, and a bit... well, strange. As a bachelor I guess you have to expect to develop these little quirks and rituals that seem harmless enough, but actually make you fear change. Oh, it's just weird all over. Life's about knowing exactly what you want, and I don't have a clue really, so it's a bit like being in a really fun limbo at the moment - Purgatory Plus: Looks Ten Times Emptier Than All Other Leading Brands Of Voids!
