- Update your journal with the answers to the questions.
- Include this explanation in the post and offer to ask other people questions.
1. Tell me your favorite book. Why.
Maniac Magee. Because Jerry Spinelli is the number one genius of kids' books. Magee unties knots, runs fast backwards, is allergic to pizza, lives with some buffalo, teaches an old guy to read and improves racial harmony in his town. To hell with Tom Sawyer. To hell I say! He cannot hold a candle to Maniac Magee. The CMOH!
2. Favorite youtube video
EZ Heeb - Athens Boys Choir Narrowly edging out
the flavor of the x-menth and
amazing costumes.
3. Favorite Disney princess
ARIEL. Because she is a MERMAID. And AWESOME. Also it was the first movie I remember seeing in theaters.
4. Favorite OTP
Clex. All other OTPs are meaningless by comparison. Lois should shift it already so Clark and Lex can be together forever and have all the rearranged subtext ever. At superspeed.
5. Best place you ever visited
The Tibetan restaurant in Beijing. We got up super early one morning to climb a mountain to the Great Wall (super awesome), then down the mountain and up another mountain to a temple, then down that mountain and all over Beijing to find a French bakery (which turned out to have been converted into a statue. Thanks Olympic Committee!), then all through Beijing's Embassies Staffed By Humorless Dudes With Guns District in the POURING RAIN to a gas station where no one could read a map but where we got a ride from a very nice lady who drove very fast talking on the phone who dropped us off at heaven, which is located on the second floor of a building in the ex-pat section.
The restaurant staff all wore traditional Tibetan dress and they had English menus. There was running water and soap in the bathroom (soap!). My dinner was mashed potatoes (maybe) sitting in pumpkin (I think) soup studded with raisins and peas and tomato (?) and carrots. It was delicious. We had yak butter pancakes for dessert (yak butter is really salty. and not a good dessert), and I didn't have to sit on the side of the table where the
Tibetan mask hanging on the wall seemed to say "why are you giving money to this corrupt government that is oppressing my people?". It was great.
