haha, so Death From Above 1979 lastnight.
was.
cool?
haha.
i got there at like 4:00. there were people lined up already to go in, even tho the show started at 7. i think they opened up at 6:30 tho.
when i first got there i met up with denika, kelsey and alex. (my new hero). me and him exchanged pogs and it was really fun.
then we tried to play frisbee, which was a fail cause it was toooooo windy.
there was a pog match by the stairs but i didn't get in on it cause i couldnt find 'ol reliable (y booldog slammer)... YAH IM COOL OK.
then mitch got there and we played frisbee .. FOR LIKE TWO SECONDS TILL HE LOST IT OVER THE FENCE.. then had to go get it.
he scales fences like a security guard. omgosh
then mitch&i walked to subway to get supper. which we didnt get cause i didnt know how to order my sub.
so we just came back and stood in line for like a million hours.
then we got inside, after almost dying, and ya.
Uncut ( i think was the first band ) were okay. he kinda just sounded like he was talking. but it was easy to learn the lyrics cause a lot of it was repetitive. overall they were okay, but not soemthing i'd pay 10 dollars to see on purpose.
Controller.Controller were like techno. their guitars sounded like really hot robot sex. which was cool. wasn't a huge fan but would have deffinatly been fun to dance to.. if there was room.
Death From Above were okay. i don't really know a lot of their songs (only 3). but i wasn't really hugely impressed with the performing.
all the bands did a lot of whining inbetween songs to not push or to be gentle or whatever, it was kind of lame. but it's all good.
the drummer from dfa kept telling everyone to shutthefuckup while he was trying to talk. it was pretty funny cause he was serious.
the walls were like. moise with like.. sweaty water stuff? kinda sick.
the room was like a sauna.
kinda.. cool?
then.. a bunch of stuff happened outside
sorry ryan :(
and then subway for visit number two
then bus
then
ya
K THATS ALL.
ENJOI THE LONGNESS.
