FMA CHAPTER 108 THOUGHTS.

I mean, I'm CRYING SO MUUUUCH WWWHHHH about it being over and everything. I cried so hard and then when I stop and calm down, I remember later that OH MY GOD IT'S FINALLY FINISHED and I start crying all over again. So let's start from the start of the chapter.
Ed punching out God some more. Rapeable. <3 And and and I WAS SO SCARED THAT LING WOULD DIE HERE. SO. SCARED. Because Ling is in my top three favourites and dammit, I was terrified. But nope, Greed's a good guy, and I had a nice big cry for him and then FATHER!TRUTH. Cutest thing ever, I want one.
ED'S MANLY TEARS. THEY MAKE ME SO HAPPY. SO HAPPY. GOD, ED, WHY SO AWESOME AND AWWWWR MANLY TEARS, YOU GUYS. <3333
I'm a little bit D8 about Ed losing his ability to do alchemy. Meagan and I joke about if Alchemy were a person, he'd marry them and that it's the series OTP and stuff. HHHHHHH AND AL. THAT ONE SHOT OF THEM GOING OUT THROUGH AL'S GATE, OH MAN OH MAN IT IS BEAUTIFUL. But but but. Hhh. I suppose there had to be some sort of bittersweet-ness going on, and Ed losing his alchemy fits in nicely with that. It must suck, having all the knowledge of how to do it and all the memory of having it, but not being able to do it. He's alchemy-impotent.

Gaaaaahhhhh. Oh, and Ling being Emperor. Fucking good. ;; And I totally called him out on being nice to the Chang clan. XD I totally called it. Bless him. LingEd bromance is one of my favourite things ever about this series.
ONE THING I DO NOT LIKE ABOUT IT. Roy getting his sight back. And that's only because since chapter 102 (or after I recovered from the tear-fest after reading it) I have enjoyed picking on him like you don't even know. And it seems a bit of a cop-out to have Roy be blind for four chapters and then healed, but Jean is paralysed for about 70 chapters and he has to get physical therapy the hard way. NOT COOL, GUYS. REALLY NOT COOL. So that's the only thing I really didn't like.
I kind of wish there was more Royai in there too. The Riza-Rebecca bromance was nice though, especially with Riza lying there in her braaa. Nom. But yes, needs moar Royai.
Al going to Xing = obv. And them working on fixing chimeras = again, obv. SO many people called that. C: OH. OH, BEFORE I SAY ABOUT THAT. THE GROUP HUG. THE ELWIN (Elrics+Winry) GROUP HUG. THE ELWIN GROUP HUG. NEVER BEFORE HAVE I CRIED SO MUCH. I WAS STRUGGLING TO BREATHE. >_____< SO BEAUTIFUL. IT WAS SO PERFECT. GHHHH.
I want to live in Resembool. Never mind that where I live is already loads like Resembool, Resembool is cooler than here.
EDWARD IS THE MOST UNROMANTIC PERSON EVER. EVER. 8'D I loved the station scene. Even after getting their bodies back, he still takes two years to get it on with his lady. Took him long enough, seriously. =P

I think one of them is an Almei baby. I think it's more likely to be the older one, since it took Ed until he was 18 to even initiate anything with his lady, so it'd take him forever to even work out how to make a baby with her. Also, he has daddy issues to get over. I always thought he'd worry about not being a good father, because he has wanderlust, and we all know how well that worked out for poor Hohopapa. The wedding ring was a nice touch, though. c: But yes, I think probably the older kid is Al's. And yeah, it looks like Ed, but Al's his brother and also an Elric and TOTALLY has possession of the Elric Smirk. It's hereditary. The baby Winry's holding looks like her anyway (though it could be argued it looks a bit like Mei, too).
The other option is that they're both Edwin's and Ed's just discovered he really likes sex. He's got to do something if he can't go around transmuting things, right? :D In that case, no wonder he looks so happy, he just got majorly laid. And probably taller than Roy.
ORRRR. It's Alwin and Edmei. Beanshipping, you know you love it. /o/
I mean, hell, I didn't even ship Edwin until recently. I still have a sort of "but....childhood friends falling in love?..." sort of thing about it, but hey, maybe it happens sometimes. And I can't see anyone else putting up with Ed. I guess I always saw him as a single sort of bloke.
I think that's about it, really, for my opinions. Anything else I think of, I'll edit it in probably because I like to have all my thoughts down in one place. It's pretty good.
...I'm crying again because it's done. Their journey is over and they finally achieved what they lost. This series...changed my life, it really has. It means so much to me. The lessons it teaches, the characters as examples...I cannot possibly describe in words how much it means to me and you'll just have to take my word for it. Nothing, nothing, can ever replace it. No other series, no other story, nothing. It's done so much for me and I'll just have to leave it at that because I cannot possibly describe it. They did it, they finished their journey, and it's been amazing.
