Daycare?
Well in my quest for a more permanent solution to my job crisis I was talking to my ex-sister in law and she had a suggestion, why don't we open our own home based daycare? This is something I've been saying that I wanted to do for awhile if I had my own place, but it didn't cross my mind to ask Stephanie if she wanted to do it too.
I've looked up the rules for licensing and they are not very difficult. We can have 5 kids without a license, so we are going to start with that and prepare for licensing. There training classes are on the 30th so thats what we are going to go do.
I think this will be great because with two people it gives us the flexibility to not always have to work every day all day, so when our own child is sick, has an appointment or for me I have a photography job I won't be freaking out over who's going to do my day job. Also our children get to stay with us, although for me I think I want Nicholas to go to his regular sitter at least 2 times a week. I really like his sitter and he loves her and all of the other kids he plays with. Plus I think it will be healthy for him to be away from me every now and then. He is already so clingy, I don't want to make it worse.
I just hope this works out. *Cross your Fingers*
