(no subject)
My face hurts.
So 10 minutes before I'm going to clock out today I am sitting in the gym, on the bench talking to Holly and out of nowhere I get hit square in the bridge of my nose with a ball! One of those hard tiny rubber bouncy balls. A patient was playing with it and it bounced clear from one side of the gym all the way over to my face. Holly said all she heard was a loud pop and then me doubled over crying. So instead of being home by 6PM I'm sitting in the ER with an ice bag over my face hoping my nose isn't broken for over two hours.
My nose isn't broken. Thank God. It hurts a lot though and it is kind of swollen. I hope I'm not completely black and blue tomorrow. Sigh...
