Mmm. Relaxing weekend; little to do. I should look at LJ!

EDIT: Guy lost, it turns out. (D'oh!) Still did a hell of a job. Beat Obama's percentage by 8 points. Final tally was within 4 of his opponent -- another 2-percent-plus-1 and he would've won. An eight-point uptick from the Presidential race is bordering on heroic in politics -- the rule of thumb for that sort of thing is that 4 points is manageable with a good campaign, and 7 is pretty much the boundary for "impossible." So bully for him.
Of course, now the Kansas legislature is trying to make sure he can't do it again. Details for that are on his blog.
